If sometime back the launch of the Phoenix Mall attracted shoppers in and around Velachery, now it is the turn of Jeyachandran Textiles to woo customers of Pallikaranai, Velachery, Medavakkam and Tambaram.

Right in the middle of the arterial road connecting the Velachery – Medavakkam stretch stands the tall and mega showroom of four floors. It is certainly a very big and positive development in that area as it has turned out to a big boon for the residents of that neighbourhood.

I chose to visit the new store on a Sunday evening and was in fact lost in the crowd. It was packed and had to wait nearly 15 minutes to pay my bill.
