  1. Do you have a clean and clear auto sign?

Now that you have a secure email account, setting up your auto sign is very important.

It should include your name, title, phone numbers, your organization website, socials media icons and email address as well. It can’t be too long, neither too short with just your name.

Make sure to include salutations to the auto sign. Separate it from the body of the email text with a line to show the difference.

If you are launching a product or service, make sure to add a line or two on that.

But make sure you delete it after the event is complete. In short keep your auto sign updated.

You can be more creative as well with gifs, animation, and videos. But keep it professional without it being too funny.

In fact, you can add your photo too, that’s a fabulous way for people to connect with you.

  1. Website

One of the first things that a prospect does if he/she wants to engage with you is visiting your website.

Do you have one? If not, its time you had one.

It does not have to be fancy and high end.

But definitely needs to have who you are, what you do and your contact details.

It must display updated information without any typos.

Position it in such a way that it addresses the problems your target segment faces.

There are several free website design templates that you can easily use by yourself.

  1. User Experience

Keep the website easy to use and find information.

Spend some time in obtaining third party validation on your website and act on their feedback.

Specifically ask them if they can browse through freely and understand your service spectrum in a jiffy. That is the key to a successful website.

  1. Social Media

I have said this in various forums, and I will repeat.

Its critical to be present where your prospects and customers are.

And social media gives you a fabulous opportunity to see what your customers are talking about and what their problems are.

Don’t just keep posting without engaging. I would recommend you engage in conversations on social media more than posting.

When you engage be careful of your tone, thoughts and choice of words.

This allows your prospects to observe you and reach out to you.

“If you make customers unhappy in the physical world, they might each tell 6 friends. If you make customers unhappy on the Internet, they can each tell 6,000 friends.”
Jeff Bezos, CEO at Amazon.com

  1. Marketing Kit

Are you ready with the necessary collaterals if a prospect reaches out to you?

After the website visit, your potential customer is going to ask you for brochure or your corporate presentation.

Is your brochure a repeat of your website, if yes, then they will be put off.

So, which means, you must unravel from the website and give more information that will prompt them for the next action.

Take the time to listen to them and I would recommend custom make the collateral to be emailed according to their need. Don’t just send the standard set of brochures.

  1. WhatsApp Marketing

What I have noticed recently is that many prospects are keen to conduct business over the phone and prefer receiving information over WhatsApp.

So don’t load them with a 30-slider deck, but just a simple image with the key information of what your selling will do the trick.

So, make sure you include a WhatsApp image for quick sharing and quicker action. Using WhatsApp for Business is a popular trend that is growing tremendously. Want to know more about this? Click here. 1. Corporate Presentation

This is one of the key collaterals that you must spend time in coming up with.

Again, go beyond the website to include case studies, client testimonials, firm history, and team profiles.

Basically, introduce them gently into the nuances of your organization so that they are convinced to make the move.

Don’t hard sell but be proud of your accomplishments.
