CHAAT BAZAAR: FUNCTIONAL AND FRIENDLY PLACE FOR CHATS AND MORE

Chaat Bazaar_0

Hello Friends,

The recently opened Chat Bazaar in T.Nagar is attracting quite a bit of crowd. So I decided to walk in and find out more about this place for the sake of Beautiful Times, and I quite loved it.

A neat, simple, warm and inviting place this is.  Nothing fancy, but with bright coloured cushioned stools it’s just the right joint to hang out with friends for a quick bite. OK, so you do want to try the authentic chaats? Chef KashiRam and Restaurant Manager Ajay Kumar Singh are quick to explain the menu varieties inviting me to try out a few.

This two storied building has fine dining service on the first floor. My friends mentioned to me that their thalis are really good.  Naturally please don’t expect to find idlis and dosais here, but if you are a fan of North Indian food but don’t want to spend too much – then head to Chaat Bazaar. Their rates are moderate and pretty reasonable.

And hey, I got to mention the first floor fine dining décor was really cool. Check out these wall posters, the mix of colors with black and white was understated and unique.

The view from the first floor is nice overlooking the big time busy Pondy Bazaar.

Parking: There is space to park in front of the building for just about a few cars, so that might be a challenge.  But then of course the Holy Angels Convent parking space and the neighbouring lanes can help you out. Parking in T.Nagar is a nightmare, so do be careful and check before you lock and leave.
