H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB is a Swedish multinational clothing-retail company with a history of 70 years in fashion. Wikipedia informs that they operate in 62 countries with over 4,000 stores and, as of 2015, employ around 132,000 people. Was curious to see what this brand offers and so visited their store at the Express Avenue Mall. H&M is the second largest clothing retailer globally with a strond online presence. The word Hennes in Swedish apparently means – Hers, and the store initially started selling women’s clothing. In Chennai, H&M is available in Ormes Road and at the EA mall. Having launched in Chennai in November 2016 they have a large and comfortable store with a wide variety to choose from.
