Hamsa Restaurant: Opulent Dining Experience

Tucked away in the quiet and elegant residential area of Gandhi Nagar, Adyar is a new restaurant that has – a breathtaking rich décor serving quality and delicious food.

Hamsa is barely 8 months old and is a venture of Sukra jewellery of Mylapore. The influence of jewellery is evident in the spectacular gold motifs across the walls, hanging lamps and their cutlery. It is a cutlery that reminds us of dining in palaces amidst royalty. So if you are planning to take your loved ones out for a very special evening, then head to Hamsa.

From the welcoming burst of hanging flower gardens, to the decorated elevators, to the dimly lit tables with fine cutlery everything about the place spells class and sophistication. Relax, and enjoy a leisure meal as this is not a restaurant that you breeze through your lunch or dinner.

The food is completely vegetarian and the staff is extremely attentive and helpful.

A tad too attentive I would say, but nevertheless courteous and polite. They have an array of business lunches which serves soup, a choice of breads, vegetables, rice and ice cream. The portions are quite filling, and no sharing is not allowed. A la carte orders are taken as well.
