Well folks, I could not contain my excitement when I walked in. As the store has an amazingly glorious look to it: high ceilings, big, broad winding staircase, marble flooring, gold coloured knobs, creamy walls, sheer curtains, huge mirrors, wreaths, candle stands and flower arrangements. Daisy’s interiors are almost palace like, with all the rich and lovely things of life neatly in place.
Gold and cream colours dominate the entire set up and you already feel like you are in a BIG wedding hall. The emotions associated with a wedding: love, happiness and elegance are all palpable when you are at Daisy. Very smart interior decoration Team Daisy!

The Team Daisy has been around for just a few months now in this new location. They know the importance of a wedding and know how to make the bride and her attendant ladies look their awesome best on that `special day’.
The way the work is on a consultation mode and their Head Consultant – Ms. Daisy meets you and gets to know what you have in mind and they work from that point onwards on a collaborative mode with you. And create that LOOK or that MOOD that is so You, and that which you have been dreaming of all along. And yes, they cater to both Christian and Hindu weddings, so spectacular saris available too.

Another interesting aspect of Daisy’s is that from the moment you are engaged to be married all the way up to your child’s birthday – you can shop here. The store has little gift hampers and lovely frocks for children in powder blue and baby pinks and they look adorably cute.

The bridal studio I think is owned by Ms.Daisy Martin Arjuna (Managing Director, Designer, Stylist) and I was so looking forward to meet her, but unfortunately she was away for a bridal appointment and hence I missed. And also my pictures have been selectively taken without actually getting into any specific dresses. Each of these outfits is custom made and designs are very unique so naturally not to be shared.

With weddings of today becoming big affairs with unique themes/concepts, such bridal studios are here to stay and definitely the way forward for Chennai (which is only used to Kanjivaram silks for weddings).

Parking: There is space to park in front of the store for about 2/3 cars. Maybe you can park in the adjacent lanes. But since their visitors are mainly by appointments this should not pose a problem.
Timings: 10.30 am to 7:00 pm. Sunday is a holiday.
