A complete vegetarian outfit, in fact an outstanding south indian restaurant, it offers a wide array of freshly made idlys, dosais, puris, pongal, pesarattu, appam, idiyappam, masal/medhu and keerai vadais. And to down all this they serve freshly brewed filter coffee and tea as well. Tall glasses of milkshakes and juices are awaiting your attention as well. Additionally they have mini lunches and southindian meals as well.

An interesting aspect of this restaurant is the transparent kitchen. The entire seating arrangement is fashioned in such a way that the tables are all around the kitchen counter. In fact the bar stool seating arrangement allows you to actually see the vadai sizzling in the oil before it gets transferred to your plate. Their décor is simple steel and white keeping the focus all the while on the food. You may have guessed it that ID stands for Idly and Dosai, two very Chennai ubiquitous morning food items. Open from 11 am to 11 pm the restaurant gives you the flexibility to walk in anytime and grab a quick bite or sit down with family for a leisure lunch if you are there at noon.
